Being creative is about innovating!
This may sound like an idealistic shortcut, but the truth is that “being creative” simply means choosing to see things through a new lens. But first, you need to find that new lens!As Ustady says:
“If you don’t free yourself from the standard, you cannot become exceptional.
If you’re just like everyone else, where’s the innovation?
And what is innovation? It’s when you take a huge step forward compared to what already exists.”
To do this, no one can take that huge step if they still hold onto everything that’s obsolete within them. Obsolescence takes many forms both within and around you: ideas, beliefs, relationships, lifestyle… and the list goes on!
Identify them and free yourself… Innovation is at the end of this daily practice. Creativity naturally follows this process.
Being creative is having an adventurous spirit!
In this universe, everything is in motion. Nothing is stagnant, and the field of possibilities is vast. All you need to do is trust your adventurous spirit and take that first step. Without taking risks, you won’t challenge or test yourself, and you’ll never discover what lies at the other end of the hallway! Believe me, it’s always worth it!
Being creative means being imperfect first!
Imperfection is the path to perfection…
The problem is that everyone focuses on perfection, but they can’t reach it because there’s a step before it. Most people are unaware of this stage—the rough draft phase.
As Ustady says:
“Not accepting the rough draft in an experience, relationship, or anything else… is the path to failure and suffering. Accepting the rough draft means accepting imperfections.”
If you want to achieve a high level of creativity, you must first accept your imperfections, accept walking through the fog, and accept being a beginner in every situation and event. This way, you can learn from your imperfections, learn from everything and every interaction, and expand your perception.
