Dixon SLS848 Plated Steel Hose Fitting, Long Shank Coupling, 1" NPSM Female x 1" Hose ID Barbed

This Dixon SLS848 water fitting is a plated steel female long shank coupler for connecting to a male coupler to join two hoses of the same size. It has a hose barb on one end for connecting to hoses and female National Pipe Straight Mechanical (NPSM) threads on the other for connecting to male threaded pipes or fittings. This fitting is made of plated steel for greater corrosion resistance than unplated steel. The barbed fitting creates a tight seal on flexible and semi-rigid tubing when used with a hose clamp, crimp sleeve, or ferrule (not included). This fitting includes a rubber gasket for high elasticity and resistance to abrasion and impact forces.
